Release date for the new album is 11/16/2004; apparently there's a single floating around on the internet; anyone have it...? If so, can you forward it to me...? i'm not talking about "Touch My Body", supposedly it's more of a politically-based song...

Cohibaman, don't worry your secret is safe with us! LOL!

I'm a little disappointed. I like Slim, but I hate to see him get all political. I like to listen to music, not be bombarded with Political rhetoric. Doesn't matter if it's pro or con.

Thanks, John - i just sent a mass email to everyone on the internet telling them that you're an Eminem fan... :)

Dave, not to worry - i'm sure the album will be packed with filth, mysogeny, homophobia, maternal insults and much, much more...

    ...i can't wait to get it...! :)

    I disagree.

I am staunchly against a lot of things he raps/sings about, however genius is genius. His flow, uniqueness, dynamics etc. make putting up with some of the selfish themes or misdirected anger possible.

Wow... It's nice to know that other people see him for what he truly is; a modern day Shakespeare... i've never admired an artist as much as i admire him... As you said, he's a genius...

Genius aside, I heard that his two new songs (this one that is out criticizing Bush) and his previous single are TERRIBLE. Slow, not technically good, and jut all around bad. A lot of people are dreading seeing the new album. I really liked the 1st and 2nd album, was less enthusiastic about the 3rd, but it grew on me. I hope he hasn't "lost it."

Yes i agree, his rhymes are sheer genius, some of the stuff he comes up with is truly unbelievable. However that said, majority of the kids I know, being in high school, like eminem because of the rudeness of his lyrics. They couldn't care less about the rhyming or talent he has, they would be just as happy listening to him swear his mouth off all day long.

Sorry for the stereotyping but I was just speaking from my personal experience.

I agree he has a way with his words and i like to listen to him, but i like the way the beastie boys rap better.

Eminem is a rapper; probably the best that ever lived... The Beastie Boys are a hip hop icon; it's impossible to sum up hip hop without mentioning The Beastie Boys... They've got a lot of songs that i really don't care for, but there's no denying their legendary status...

Rikky, i was starting to wonder that, too... When i heard this Mosh song, i wasn't as impressed as i've been with past singles he's dropped when introducing a new album... Hopefully the rest of the disc will be better...
