    I have recently acquired a 430 spider (2008).
Drove it in the rain for the 1st time.
Immediately I could feel that it was sluggish. 3 kilometers down the road, after traveling at around 60km/h, the " slow-down" sign lit up on the instrumentation panel..

All the gauges; water temp, oil temp and oil pressure were normal.

A suggestion was a sensor in the engine bay may have gotten wet and sent the management system into "limp" mode..

Any suggestions as to what he problem could be.

(I have parked the vehicle off and hoping for the best; the sensors dry up...)

    Regards

'recently acquired' & check engine lights often means the car has been started without waiting for the 'check ok' light

What colour was the slow down message? They come in red (exhaust) and amber (e-diff) flavours.

The color of the warning was yellow.
I parked off for the evening and started the next morning; drove off with no issues thereafter.
I am hoping that it's a case of me having omitted, waiting for the "OK" sign.

(This is one time that I am quite happy to say lesson learned....)
Wouldn't want to have eDiff issues..

    Thanks for the info guys..
