    very nice, but it would be alot nicer if it was styled like the 722.

    About styling, it's beautiful, but it's a silly car, and it's so expensive than the value it offers.
    Also I think it's scandalous to see so wide space around the capote when it's open... Worse than Z4!

    A little off topic, but now that I think about, I would rather a Porsche Carrera GT for the money. I know that they are fairly different cars, but after going for a ride in the Carrera I want it, and the MSRP is about the same or less and they are both sort of open-top cars. If the SLR was designed like the 722, I might feel differently but for now the Porsche.

    I'm surprised it took Mercedes this long to get a convertable version. But why not just get a SL65 instead?

    I would rather have this then any plain jane SL65. It looks good, took bad they didnt put a hardtop convertible on there. It would have added so much weight though.
