Curious what you guys are paying for smog checks in SoCal. My regular guy charged me more than double to do the Ferrari. He gave me a bunch of explanations why and I have been going to him for years with my other cars. Nothing “special” was needed as my car is fully legal and I spent time doing the proper ECU reset (I changed the battery and didn’t want to chance it).

Zee's Smog Check, 1606 Placentia Ave, Costa Mesa has done my smog checks for years on all my cars. I don't recall a Ferrari test ever costing more than other cars. My cars are completely stock with no engine modifications, no exhaust changes, and no programming. I believe he won't touch an altered car, he even has me set the odometer to show the miles on the dash readout instead of kilometers I usually display.

Hi Diamond Dog, you may recall my black '16 Cali T is just completely stock. Zee's Smog is simply a tiny one-person operation. He needs the engine compartment open, validation of something with CARB, and some other simple things. As far as I know, he would be willing to do yellow cars also! Maybe drop by to see about how your car(s) would fare. Or give him a call.

My detailer is Detail Concierge. He was contracted with Pagani, then went out on his own. He is located in Costa Mesa and does it all. I highly recommend him.
