F8 Sound System

I am about to order a new F8 Spyder. Does any one have feedback about the standard sound system? A business associate of mine on the West Coast bought an F8 and said the standard is inferior and he wished he upgraded the sound system. Any input would be appreciated.

 

It’s a Ferrari. Upgrade the system to the best one; you’ll appreciate it. No one wants to sit in a super car and know that they have cheaped out.

 

Have not heard the F8's sound system, but if it's like every single other previous Ferrari model outside of the FF-Lusso lineup, standard is terrible, upgraded is mediocre. I would be surprised if Ferrari had a change of heart and decided to make the F8 the first mid engined Ferrari with a decent sound system.

Personally the upgraded stereo is still bad enough that I would almost never turn it on over the sound of the actual car, but that's up to you to determine.

Upgrade. The F8 upgradeD stereo is much better than the upgrade on 458. I have both. But still not as good as most USA made cars. They still need to do better.

 

I had the standard in the 488 and I never listened to it because I had the top down most of the time. I put the upgrade in the 812 and it's actually a good system.

 

This, plus the JBL is a better starting point for aftermarket upgrades.

 

Sound system? What sound system?

 

I have the JBL upgrade in my 458. I can’t imagine getting the standard stereo, but the JBL is good enough unless you like to listen to your stereo in a parked car. There is so much noise when driving that something better isn’t worth it, so the JBL strikes the right balance.
