Anyone ever fight a speeding ticket when clocked by an Applied Concepts 'Stalker' system? Please let me know.

    Thanks, Peter

From what I can see "Stalker" is the name of Applied Concepts' speed measuring division, or line of products.

Do you know if you were caught with radar or lidar?

I don't think they are much different than any other radar or lidar device.

Who has a copy of the Stalker Dual owners manual? I recall somebody saying that with Stalker Dual radar units, the patrol car needs to be the slowest or the fastest moving object to measure speed with accuracy.

I certainly have some homework to do. If I can't get the maintenance manuel from the company, I would think this would work against the courts. I should be able to subpoena the records from the court on the unit in question though.

The real question is: were you speeding? If not, you oppose the measuring device. If so, you think up a really great excuse.
