What about this Sat krub, everyone. I got a mail from Ferma telling about the drive at Bira circuit this coming Sat. Anybody is going????

I don't have my TR with me, it's at Ferma for suspension and brake. I don't think it will be done in time for this Sat though.

Sad Sad Sad !!!! I can't join the track day at bira.my pony still sick and admit at ferma . It seem that my valeo gear starting to give me problem. I am flying to hongkong on friday19 and return at the same day ,hope I can get some sparepart there. Someone said that the electronic part (gear sencer) which I am looking for is around xxx,000 bath /box . sad sad sad.

 

i called ferma yesterday. there will be probably 10 members joining for this year. for myself, i'm going to pattaya for business trip. then, i might stop by bira to say hi to everyone. i wish to see you guys there at bira na krub.

It's only my own story to tell you all: For a little over a month that I've owned a red pony, rosso 348. On first days I didn't feel secured to drive at speed since I thought the suspension was very sensitive, may easily be overcontrolled. Since then I've keep driving this car, the more I do, the more I get used to. It's just a week that I feel confident and comfortable with her. There might be bad rumours about Ferrari unreliability or else but nowaday I think I made a good decision to take 348 and chose the right choice to pick this one. I like to say thank you K. Theera and P. Jee who inspired me and also provided important data on this car. She is really in good shape, and response very well. Today I'm in love with this one. I begin to forget any other cars. Is this what you guys call Ferrari passion? Cheers!

p.s. I met Jin at Emporium on Tues. and had a chat but didn't ask him about his new pony. Is that mondial cabriolet, Jin?

 

K.Nok krup, I am glad you are getting use to your pony. My ex 348 was a little twitchy around corners and the front tend to wander at high speed. I had a conversation with Paul Hill, the owner of Hill Engineering, a sponsor here. He also owns a 348 and had the same problems. He said the 348 has a short track base, and something to do with the angle of the front kingpin that made the car wander. He suggested spacers, 25mm rear and 15mm front.
I did what he suggested and it made a real difference.
Be careful, this passion is an incurable disease.
