That's right, this Thursday is the first of the month. Are we headed to BT's neighborhood?

For great parking, I would suggest Bravo Italian Restaurant at 1515 17th St Causeway, Ft Lauderdale. Its where the SSF holiday party was December 2006, adjacent to the Renaissance Hotel. 10 minutes off of I-595/US1.

That's true, it was a nice place. But if John needs to stay on Las Olas to attend then how about Mangos?

Googled and called S & J to find out if they had on site parking.........NO definitive answer. So.....any restaurant you guys pick will be OK with me. If it happens to be within the Greater Ft. Lauderdale area, then I"ll be able to join you all.

    LOL........ I wish!!

I just got back into town.....I was at the Petit Le Mans race in Atlanta, then spent several days driving and relaxing up in the mountains of GA, NC, and TN.

Great Ginetta Obi-wan driving master.......... You, of all people, don't need to ask...........

It was AMAZING!!!! I was in a rental car (Seabring convertible), so there wasn't much 'all out' driving like when I brought the Lotus in April, or when we all went last year. However, the weather was perfect, so having the convertible was really nice!!! Plus, the cabin I stayed at was on an unpaved crazy-inclined dirt road that you'd only want to get to with either a 4x4 or a rental car!!!!

    Amongst other roads:
    *Sunday, I did 60, 180, 348, 17/75, cooper's creek, etc...
*Monday, I did 129 (including Tail of the Dragon), 72, 360, 165/143/Cherohala Skyway.
*Wednesday, I drove to Asheville to visit the Biltmore, but on the way back I did the Blue Ridge Parkway all the way back to Balsam.
    *Thursday, I did 60 again.

I can't wait to go back!!!!!
