Does anyone know what the E. Naroli etched into the steering wheel was for?Is it a personal signature of the manufacturer or a signature of Enzo's cousin?

    That's "Nardi" (not "Naroli").

+1 The signature is sloppy, so I can see why it looked different to you, but Nardi is a famous racing steering wheel manufacturer.

Enrico Nardi was there with Enzo when it all started, engaging in all phases of the sport including as a driver. In the late thirties he became a Scuderia Ferrari engineer and after the war formed his own works, producing specialized items but was most known for his walnut steering wheels. I think those produced for the 3x8 cars was in his honor as he died of exhaust fumes in 1968, perhaps Enzo provided a royalty for his wife by adding his signature to them as I don't think the works plant survived him.

I'm new here and I've been wondering why the name is on my steering wheel too. Mystery solved. BTW, I thought it was Naroli as well. Image Unavailable, Please Login

    Damn that's pretty cool!!

I knew of Nardi wheels on the older cars, of course but had never seen the "308 Tribute" version.

I have several from 308s, and all bear his (Nardi's) signature.

I never looked at the signature that closely before, it does look like Naroli.
