I was having my F430 serviced and they let the battery die. After I entered the Key Code the stereo works fine except for a weird, what looks like a license key 2yx-st3-5y-...etc. the string of characters is really long...any idea what this is and how ii can get rid of it??

Try disconnecting the battery, leave it that way for a couple of hours and then try it again.

I presume its an OEM Becker? Before you disconnect the battery, detach and reattach the face. Clean off the contacts with an eraser. Could just be the display.

If its the Cascade, you can remove the left volume button and panel and eject the CF card. then test it.. then reinsert it.
