Was wondering if any of you guys disconnect the battery rather than keep it on a tender for long term storage. Other than the radio code needing to be re entered, is there anything that could harm the car? I assume not as Ferrari indicates in the manual to use the master disconnect switch in the trunk.

    Any thoughts?

I keep it on a tender for long term storage. I dont see the point of disconnecting the battery or turning off the switch.

I have done both. The car was fine after reconnecting the battery. The dealer reckoned I should let the car idle for 20/30 mins after first starting it to let the engine management adapt at idle. I did do this but not sure that was required

Thanks. The reason I was asking is because I don't have access to electricity in the area where the car will be stored for the winter.

Thanks to all. As far as a battery tender goes, do any of you have a particular brand you prefer? I have used the battery tender brand in the past and it worked fine. Just not sure with an f car. I am getting very close to pulling the trigger on my first f car so I want to get housekeeping in order.
