Can anyone help to identify these parts? I think the handle may be some kind or manual window crank unit, but the other part I have no idea.

Are they any use to anyone?

The part on the right might be a hinge from a spare tire cover.

Came in a toolkit from a 400i from what I can figure if that helps!

The part on the right is definately the forward hinge of the spare tire cover (mounted on the underside).

So it must have fallen off to be in the toolkit, would that be right?

Previous owner must have found it on the spare tire floor, didn't know what it was, & stowed it in the toolkit.
Your mission, if you choose to accept it, it to locate those 3 tiny black acorn nuts buried somewhere.

The window crank is for 328s and is very rare. It does not work on 400s.

328's only or 308's as well?

328s only. 308s use a completely different window lift system and have a crank that is very different.

100% sue the part on right is one of the spare tire cover hinges. It should fit right on with three nuts and washers. Looking closely, apparently the three weld spaltters are there by design; on mine I thought it was sloppy welding by Guido two blocks down from Pinna!
