subscribed threads

whats so secrete is it worth subscribing i dont post much but i do read the post a lot

 

Some of us simply appreciate the work and expense that goes into maintaining a site like this, and decide to contribute via a subscription in partial compensation for the value we receive here.

 

The "Subscribed" areas are where the real "meat" of the sandwich is located.

The money spent for a subscription here is nothing when compared to the money saved solving problems in my own garage. I've never done the math, but this site has probably saved me thousands in repair bills over the coarse of the few years I've been here.

I think the OP was referring to subscribing to threads. It is handy, I have the "user CP" as my bookmark to this site, so when I open Ferrarichat I see if there are new posts in any of my subscribed threads. By posting in a thread you are also automatically subscribed to it.

 

That is actually incorrect, it is turned off, you must change it yourself.

How?

Basically, before you submit your posts, scroll down to additional options, and then where it says THREAD SUBSCRIPTION, Notification Type: you can not subscribe, get instant subscription notices, daily notices, or weekly notices. You probably changed yours.

If you are talking about the PAID subscriptions, then, it should be all up to you.

 

I see what you mean, I probably changed it once a long time ago and forgot about it, but the system remembered.
I am silver subscribed basically to be able to post pictures, odd that you have to pay to provide content but it's ok to me because of the other advantages.

 

You can't go wrong kicking in $15 for a Silver.
