Used Superformance for some recent parts purchases and I am very satisfied. Shipping to Tennessee was 60.00 dollars for 2.5 kg and it took 4 days. Parts quality was excellent as well as customer service.

They are a great outfit. I've used them for an awful lot of stuff as well.

I recently ordered a new set of indicator lights for the instrument cluster, when the order arrived one was on back order. I contacted them to ask if the back order would be filled automatically, or would I need to place another order. They replied commenting that once the supply was back in stock, they would reach out. Sure enough, a few weeks later they contacted me that the part was back in stock and that they would be sending the part to me. One of those indicator lights is only $26, however, they follwed through and got it done. Very impressive!

I just ordered bearings and a few odds and ends from them for my suspension rebuild. Two bearings were accidentally not shipped and they instantly rectified the mistake. The interesting thing is they have some parts 1/3 price of the competition such as the bearing centrifugal seals.

    Top notch customer service.

I really think this is a great outfit. My only complaint is that when there is a problem, they are useless.

Not my experience, markc. Customer service has been great. E-mailed them a query about the contents of the valve job gasket set, and they got right back to me. The gasket set was very complete. A few weeks later I ordered two valve buckets to replace cracked ones I found. Slept on it and decided to replace them all. Sent them a request to amend my order and they instantly fixed it. There is a lady there called Chloe DiChiara and she really knows how to do her job.

Chloe is the best. I had accidently ordered the wrong cam seal for the air pump end of the cam. I emailed her and told her what I did. Told her I would be glad to pay for the correct part and asked how much to send by fast delivery. She sent the correct seal, didn't charge me for it or for the fast delivery. Awesome!

I've ordered from them in the past with no complaints.
I'm going to order a few suspension parts for my upcoming suspension rebuild.

I had a little "discussion" with Colin about these some time ago.

The upshot was that he said they would change to the same green Klingersil material the OEM ones use. Not sure if they have changed over yet though.

I recently purchases a quick ratio steering rack from them. When it arrived it was not a rack but a parts kit and it was machined wrong and didn't fit. I now have to buy another rack just to get my car running in time to ship it. They are refunding my money but should refund labor and associated parts cost.

    Dear Iain,
Why must we avoid buying the Superformance cam cover gaskets ? Some problems with them ?

Because they leak. There are a number of us who have tried them (because of course they are so much less expensive). Mine leaked along the entire lower edge of the cam cover and when I took them off the gaskets were soaked through with oil. Having been light grey to start with they were completely black.

Any chance you could post a picture? Is there any indication as to what the material is?

They never supplied the entire part, just the rack and pinion, AFAIK. I am also waiting on a fast ratio rack - apparently an entire batch was machined incorrectly, and they are being done again.

Perhaps this is a good time to bring up the fact (rumour) that they are upside down mini racks - lots of parts there, and in 2.7 and 2.2 ratio. Anybody know anything about that?

This has been my experience also.
Very disappointing. Paying shipping both ways because they shipped the wrong parts makes dealing with them not worth while.
I had no complaints prior, having used them for years.

Hard to read but the best I can figure out they say "MASTITE" and the phrase "Best Under Pressure".

I put in a substantial order with Superperformance and I received some of the shipment within a week. I emailed to ask where the rest of the parts were and heard nothing. Followed up a few times and finally was told some parts were on backorder. Would have been nice to have received some notification rather than trying to track them down - especially since the car was down longer than it needed to be due to the wait (when I could have just ordered from someone else who could get the parts to me quickly).

Still waiting for some of the stuff to show up.
