Switzerland Project

if ya dont know me im only 12 years old lol, but i have a switzerland project and i was wondering if you all new of any cool ' tourist attractions ' and is there a car that is built in switz, i couldnt think of 1

Is this a school project you're doing?

There are lots of attractions in Switzerland. Mostly it's famous for it's landscape, lots of beautiful lakes and mountains. This is great for winter sports, skiing, snowboarding, sledging and summer activities like sailing, walking, climbing. The big tourist attractions are mostly associated with the landscape the Glacier Express for example or the mountain top stations (Switzerland is not very big into Disney World type resorts )

As far as car production is concerned there were a few car manufacturers over the years but all have ceased production now. Monteverdi, Enzmann, Hispano Suiza (a joint Spanish Swiss company) are a few that spring to mind. For race cars Sauberis the best known Swiss manufacturer. The most famous Swiss car man is probably Louis Chevrolet, a Swiss man who went to the US to find his fame and fortune. Bob Lutz is also a Swiss citizen.

Currently firms like Rinspeed and Sbarro are the closest Switzerland has to a car industry. Rinspeed is more of an industrial design company which uses one off car designs to show case some of its ideas. Sbarro makes one off cars for private clients and has a automotive design school, but couldn't really be considered car production.
