Dave, that car is perfect with the exception of one thing. I still don't see the need for those candy-azz shifter paddles.:D

    Really, congrats on the car.

But does it float? Enjoy it as you run from the fires and earthquakes. Need a safe place to store it? I now have garage space. Best of luck with it. It's a looker! We'll be out in Palm Springs in Feb, come on out and let me try it.

Haha, I'll take my chances with the fires and the quakes to be able to drive these amazing roads. Best roads I've ever driven in my life are all around the Malibu canyons. It makes me sad to think of a good drive in Chicago is heading down Lake Shore Drive or at best a few turns out in Barrington :(.

I'd bring some of these canyons back with me this summer if I could.

Once you get a few miles outside of Chicago proper you have miles and miles and miles of interstate to drive on, plus tons of rural roads. Illinois is incredibly thinly populated once you get outside of Chi-town.

I've driven much of IL thin in search of fun roads and it's a pretty poor sight compared to California. There's not enough twisty turns or elevation changes to even start comparing. There are definitely some decent roads out by the Mississippi River, but even those pale in comparison with what the Californians are blessed with.

Congrats on the new car, I saw in you profile that you have one of the new Cayman interseries cars, do you have any pictures of that?
