    Hi

The rev counter on my 308 euro with single distributer has gone wrong, From memory the neddle used to point to 500 rpm when the car was turned off but it now points down off the dial. It still seems to work ok but is miles out, its shows about 3k rpm at around 7k rpm.
When I look at the speedometer I see a little pin that holds the neddle at around 10 mph, should the Tachometer have a simular pin or is it adjusted to the correct position ?

    thanks
    marc

    Hi Mark

Just braved the cold and ventured out to the garage to check on my 79 308GTB. I cant see a little needle on either the tacho or the speedo!!

    Regards

    Phil

    Hi Philip
Thanks for the picture, its cold on the east coast as well with a off shore wind thats chills to the bone. On the speedo I can see a silver pin holding the neddle at 10 mph. This is what my rev counter looks like at rest, sorry for the bad pic.
