I own an entertainment production company in Los angeles.I also own a Ferrari and wondered why nobody has put together a series of videos/dvds showing common maintenence and repair procedures i.e. engine removal, clutch replacement etc because I would certainly buy them. I have all the equipment to video tape and am wondering if there would be any members in the Los Angeles area willing to be video taped while performing such repairs (must be very experience tech)? Thanks

Years ago I bought some VCR tapes on both building a small block chevy and a GM tranny. I have used DVDs to learn about computer programs etc. How to tune up your Ferrari would be great.

I bet it's because the market is too small and the production company would never really rake in any real ROI. First they're not that many Ferraris (vs Chevys). Second, fewer still could or would even do their own services, especially if it requires engine-out treatment (348 and up) so the target market would be tiny. And finally, ebay would kill the value of a new video or CD for the production company. There would be cheaper copies all over the place the second the originals hit the market.

Of course that's just my opinion...
