There are so many things wrong with their claims.
    1) they claim that the chip fits cars made from Jan 2001-jan2004
    2) they claim the the Testarossa makes 319kw which is 427 Hp
    3) the car has mechanical fuel injectors and a distributor cap, that means that it's not computer controlled.
The company doesn't even know what car they are writing for.
Hope that helps, that was just on initial scanning through it?

I had exactly the same thoughts when I read their ad. I did the same calculation for the horsepower.

Yea even if they magically found a way to get more power out of a naturally aspirated engine using a chip, they do a crappy job at advertising it.

The rated HP of a TR is 390 from the factory. With all due respect, the factory underrates the engine. I have seen stock TR engines turn in excess of 400+HP. As for the rest of their claims....I think they may be talking 512 & M series of TR.

But.......I did like the sales pitch. They can throw in on pretty thick!!! :D

The part that made me guffaw was where they mention how your Testarossa's TOWING capability will be increased! That screamed "form letter" to me!

Depends on the dyno. A Mustang Dyno is brutally honest and hurts a lot of feelings. I dynoed a 1990 Testarossa and it made 379HP corrected HP which I was happy (and surprised) to see. My 360HP rated BB is significantly faster than my 380HP Testarossa. You could say it opens a can of whoop-a$$.

As for having distributors and not being able to provide gains, they most certainly can because the ignition is controlled by a map, purely electronic advance so the curve can be customized and there is always room for improvement.

US TR are rated at 380 BHP; the euro TR are rated at 390 BHP.

They only show a listing for 1991 TR, but, if they had something for that, it would also work on any other KE-Jet TR (i.e., '85-'90 US TR and late '86-'90 euro TR) - so why is 1991 special? I vote 512TR vs TR confusion ;)

Wow, wish I had seen this before I bought a new towing vehicle. I could have added the chip and used the TR to pull my SUV to events.
