First off I would like to thank Jim for giving me a no-holds-barred ride in his 328. That was my very first ride in a Ferrari and it was excellent. I'm not kidding when I say I actually teared up a bit and I'm still grinning from ear to ear. :) My first comment upon leaving the car is "wow.. that sound". Then the guys proceeded to tell me that I had to have a ride in Jano's car. Thank you very much to Jano and all I have to say is: Tubi = Good. :)

This Ferrari group is full of people that are passionate about great cars. I felt right at home. It was great to not have to explain why the feel, sound, and smell of a car are more important than just horsepower.

I got the full Ferrari experience with the ride (Jim and Jano), the stories (Manny) and the maintenance (Jim). All of you made a guy very happy this evening. Thank you very much.

    Gene

P.S. I didn't want to leave without thanking Tillman for inviting me. I owe you man!

You owe me nothing. In fact, I predict in future years you'll be cursing me (or your wife will!) ;)

Remember, the first taste is free......

I saw Dave, Tillman, & Manny; but I didn't get a chance to say hi. The BMW ppl were wondering where I was. About an hour ago, I did run into Nicola as he was leaving with a friend.

I did notice a Ferrari getting towed away....someone missing their car payments?? :)
