Just wanted to say quick "Thank You" to all the Ferrari Chat members who helped with purchase my first Ferrari. I love just standing in my garage looking at it...obviously not as much as driving it but it is a beautiful car. Special thanks to Chris Kelly from Premier for spending countless hours on the phone with me helping me make the decision. Sorry I didn't buy from you Chris, but hopefully we can do business in the future. At least I know where I can go to for service.
Still learning a lot about how to drive the car (just because it doesn't have a third pedal, it's not as easy to drive as I thought it would be). Be prepared for a barage of post requesting help on all types of topics. Any suggestions for a new F1 owner will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks, again.

    Specs:
    2001 Black Spider 11K miles
    Red Calipers
    Shields
    Sport Seats
    New Clutch, belt service
    All keys, FOBS
    New tool kit
    0% Financing for 4 years

    Minor issues:
Ashtray cover loose..new one on order
Minor scuffs on switches and around ignition key cylinder

    ?Major issue
Air conditioning not blowing cold air

That is a sexy car. Nice options and color combo! Congrats!!
As far as the AC, make sure the Stop bottom is out (not pressed in). That engages the compressor.

Think of it as 'Climate Control' on/off. If it is off you won't get AC or Heat.

yes. also curious on the zero percent financing? I assume that the dealer is covering the real cost of the money?

Congratulations, hope you got a car cover for it or you'll be in the garage staring at the beauty for hours and we'll have to send out a search party for you.

Thinking of upgrading to modular wheels anytime soon?

Thanks, everyone. The 0% fianancing was how the car was advertised in Autoweek...I didn't have to anything except take advantage of it. I paid $130k for the car, so I'm assuming the cost is built into the price to some extent.
I actually didn't want the sport seats but after sitting in them, they are very comfortable and actually like them a lot.
You are all correct, the a/c is the top down, just one of those things that I think should work better...taking it to the dealer on Tuesday.
Any suggestions for smoother take offs from stop...the car jerks if I don't hit the gas pedal hard in 1st gear (I know, I know, but sometime there's just too much traffic that you have to go a little slower).
This board made the buying process very informative.
Look forward to meeting all the other F-car owners from Minnesota, sorry I wont be able to attend the WOI next week but will have to catch up at Cars and Coffee one of these days. rjkennedy, glad you got your 430. Will talk to you when you get back from Boston.

Just apply firm constant pressure to the gas pedal when taking off and you should be fine.

    Congrats!
