Hey Everybody (ie EC gang not banned) Just brought the family home from the hospital today and wanted to extend a heartfelt thanks for all the kind thoughts and well-wishes posted on the Early Risers thread. I was deeply touched and just showed them to my wife. As some of you know, my little guy has been battling some serious medical issues the past year, and that we've become regulars at NYU Med Ctr. He still has a long way to go, much of whch will remain critical his entire life. But for now, Im just so happy to have him and Mommy back home. We're hanging tough. Please keep those positive thoughts flowing. PS - I missed being around here the past few days, and now Im saddened to see the exodus of several friends from here. I have a low threshold for grief not relating to my family these days, so I have no other comments abt it. Just wish the outcome was diferent.
Sorry to hear about your family's trials, Greg. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Although I don't know the nature of this EC rebellion, as it were, I can only assume that since it was over a chat website that it was rather petty in nature. Surely, to be dealing with the critical problems your family faces are truly the "REAL" important things to a person's life. Maybe they will see a difference in what a real serious problem is.
