    saw awfull pics of a 575M Maranello, crashed in the Netherlands. the driver lost control over the car, hit a lamppost and ended in a bush. driver was lightly injured. but the car must be gone....:(

    I've seen far worse crash "victims" being repaired. This 575 will be fixed, no problem. The car is worth about 150'000 Euros, so even with 80'000 Euros damage (and that's a high estimate) it's still worth repairing. If the owner has full-kasko insurance then it will be relatively painless - the car will get fixed by a proper Ferrari garage and the insurance will pay for it.

    Before throwing away such a valuable car you need to inflict much, much worse damage than this...

    If the car's structure is damaged the car should be written off by the insurance company and the car destroyed (or parted out). Much too dangerous to drive a "fixed" car!
