This weekend

Hey guys,
Heading to Chicago this weekend as a birthday getaway. Where are good places to spot cars? Any car events happening this weekend? Just looking for some fun ideas.

I will probably go to some of the Ferrari dealerships.

If anyone wants to meet up and show me their car I wouldn't mind.

Any leads or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The Ferrari dealerships aren't terribly close to downtown, about 30-45 minutes away depending which one you go to. Worth the trip if you have time though.

Best place to spot cars is going to be Gold Coast area near what is known as the Viagra triangle, Chicago/State/Rush Streets. Grab a drink at Tavern on Rush and you should see exotics. Just south a couple of blocks is Bentley Gold Coast as well. Also near the area are a McLaren and Aston dealer.

I second the triangle, especially if its nice out. I've seen some incredible stuff there.

 

This ^^^. Grab a outside table @ Tavern or Hugo's, sit back and enjoy. Bentley Gold Coast is also Lamborghini Chicago along with a few other unattainables.

During regular business hours they line the corner of Rush St & Chestnut with some serious [$$$] automobiles. They always have several used Ferraris and an occasional Bugatti or two.

There is a FCA Ferrari and Coffee meet Saturday morning at 8:00am in Bannockburn a suburb about 35 miles north of downtown Chicago. It is in a shopping center at the corner of Half Day road and Waukegan road in Bannockburn.
