    The owners formed the corporation in Qakland CA but the chassis and bodies were made in Italy. The simplicity and quality of the build make these very light and fast sports cars. They are easy to work on and with the Buick engine very reliable.

    Yes, it has a gorgeous Italian body, but the Apollo is as American as the Cadillac Allante.

    Don't get me wrong -- I think they're cool cars, always have -- but to call it an Italian car is to miscategorize it. This thread should really be in the American section. :)
