Timing Question

I just noticed a 2013 458 being offered for sale that had a CARFAX report showing it being being washed/detailed at dealer in June of 2012 and then sold that month. Did 2013's arrive that early in the US?

 

probably one of the first ones but yes....2014's will be here this summer.....

 

I got my 2013 in October 2012. My dealer told me it was one the first in the U.S.

I would ask more questions about a June delivery - that was BEFORE the summer shut-down when they switched MY from what I know.

 

Normally Sep/Oct for Ferrari MY change.

 

My 2013 was built in July and delivered in early Sept 12...but there were a number at my dealer at least a month ahead of mine. I thought they started building them in June last year...I may be wrong...but a June delivery in the US sounds quite early.

 

Below is the info off of CARFAX which seems to indicate this 2013 being washed/detailed on June 26, 2012 and sold on June 30, 2012.

Mine was the first MY2013 my dealer received. May 2012 production. Arrived at dealer mid June by air. Picked up my car on June 20.
