I bought a 575 last spring. I’m using for a daily driver and have tracked it at Barber.
It came with Pirelli P zeros dated 2018 rear and 2016 front.

the car seems to slide around more than it should, it rides “hard” and takes a long time to get over a flat spot feel when parked for only 2 or 3 days.

the car was previously in Miami.

Is it possible these tires have “dried out” in such a short time?
Do you have these symptoms with P zeros?

David- In general, the Michelin PS4S cures a lot of those symptoms. My opinion is that Pirellis suck compared to Michelins or Continentals.

Having switched 2 cars, including 1 Ferrari, from P Zeros to MPS4Ss, I would agree with Taz completely. If and when you switch, must be careful not to mix them up with MPS4. The MPS4S is a different and much sportier tyre with fantastic adhesion and compliant ride.

I don't get P Zeros at all. They are hard, perish easily, don't work well in the wet or cool weather, brittle...steer clear.

Let us know what you think of them. Should be a very positive change.

Not today. A flooding rain storm is not a good time to get the 575 out.
    Maybe tomorrow or Wednesday?

I have the Pirelli's on my 550, dated 2016 front and rear. They are hard, slippery and scary, I have to be very careful driving it until they warm up. I will be interested to hear your results with the Michelin's. My biggest problem is finding a shop I trust to change the tires. The one shop in my area that I know has the equipment and knowledge to change them properly, won't touch them due to the cost of the rims.

If they really know what they are doing, no wheel causes them anxiety because they know how to work with them without causing damage.

I had the SP4S’s installed about an hour ago.
They are clearly better in every way you can feel on a short ride home.
    Much smoother and quieter
Too soon to know about grip
I’ll report after a spirited drive

Hi everyone, I can’t seem to find the MPS4 tires in OEM size 295/35ZR18. Where are all of you finding them?

MPS4 are not available for those of us on 18” 550 wheels - If going with Michelin, Pilot Super Sports is the way to go (I highly recommend them).

For 18s in OEM sizes, I agree Michelin Supersports are the way to go.

For 19s, either Michelin 4S or Bridgestone RE-71R.

The later is a more aggressive tire but its also heavier (2-3lb/tire) and shorter life. If you already have heavy wheels, best steer clear.

Remember that MPS4S is completely compatible front/rear with PSS. This was a design intent from the start by Michelin.

You can run the 4S on the front for a quieter tire and better wear with almost identical handling and SS on the rear.
