TR Cills

I'm off to see this car tomorrow with a M8 who's looking for a mint car with full history, or as complete as you'd expect with a TR, looks a peach. Can someone tell me whether the cills have been painted Red as most TR's I see have a Black cill. Apart from the new rims everything else looks standard.

Does anyone know anything about this particular car?

The link does not work for me sorry, all i can say is that if it is an early TR then the sills should be black, what year is the car?

Those sills have been painted along with the front spoiler.

 

Just do a search on this forum for Hendon Way Motors and you will find a couple of pages of info to be armed with!

 

Just a couple of points.....................
Panel gaps & levels don't look great in the pics, there is also a colour anomaly between the doors & rear quarters.
Might be just the camera angle, but might help?

Now that you've pointed that out the door gaps do look odd, I'll certainly take a close look at these points when I see it in the flesh.
