Dose anyone know how to tell if the engine has been removed from the car at sometime in the past.
Subframe fasteners are all coated with undercoating from the factory. If they have been removed you can tell.
If I found any TR with original coating still on the sub-frame bolts I would not start the engine, unless there is evidence or proof that it came out the top on a recent service..
