Anyone have an insurance provider that covers track-day events, like HPDEs?

Liability as a participant, or coverage for the car? Or to cover the event organizers?

Back when I was in that business, way over 10 years ago now, I hadn't found a policy that would cover the car on track. There was such thing as a storage, paddock and trailer policy, but all coverage ceased once you made the turn on to the track.

    Curious if things have changed.

If you're talking about coverage for event organizers, there is a company that will write liability policies. I want to say the company was called Parrish Heacock or something like that. We (the chapter) took out a policy like that for some of the FCA events we organized in the early 'oughts'. I noticed that the sign in sheets of every track day I go to are the same forms we were provided, so my guess is most track operators and event organizers obtain their liability coverage from the same company.

Dave, I am talking about car coverage. No one provides lialibity coverage for track events, as far as I can tell.

Glad to see somebody has filled the hole in the market. Most of those coverages were very hard to obtain in the early 2000s.

    Search rennlist.

There was a huge thread on there about this...

My impression, looking at the PCA and SCCA websites and the verbiage of their policy, is that their liability policy does cover you for lawsuits. But, it doesn't cover car damage...
