I've hit another milestone, and at a crossroads in the mileage.

I haven't posted much, but i'm here daily for info..
I posted here when i purchased my 99 355F1 spider about 2yrs ago off of ebay with a salvage title 22K mi. While not the smartest thing i ever done, not the dumbest either.

Its been a wonderful car, with no major problems i couldn't remedie myself or with my independant service guy.
Fix the bumper and tire rash minor fender repair.
    1 major down $4000+ricambi kit
1 driver side electric window mech. Thanks to Russ at Ferrparts for all his help, even when i purchased it. Hyd. hose for top, easy fix.
I've put some really hard mi. on it also, El toro race track. early morning sessions..
Was omly planning on keeping it a couple of yrs. So not sure what to do next..

Doesn't scare everyone - put it up at a price you'd part with it and see - just be realistic with your numbers. If you don't get it, keep on driving.

If you still really enjoy driving it, I would hold onto it. If not sell it. I would have a hard time parting with a car I knew was well maintained and in good condition.

It should cross the 30k mile mark at speed.
Anyone who cares whether it has 29,999 or 30,001 miles isn't a good buyer for the car anyway.
Drive it like ya stole it.

Keep on driving to avoid issues with it. The longer it sits the more it will cost you in upkeep. Some of us may agree with this. WIth higher mileage, I would just part it out at the end and build four other 355s instead of throwing it away at low selling price :)

    Agreed also ..

I just see it coming closer and closer..30K Once it's passes i'll feel alot better..

Never really contemplated parting it out.. Meet be even harder to do, seeing it picked part..
This was a well maintaned and taken care of car, before the accident. And should have never been salvaged titled. Russ at ferrparts and i saw it when i purchased and before any repairs were done..

Was also wondering if anyone, (Bruce or anyone "next Stooge event") has any experience doing a tranny reseal. Shes got a few drips that drive me crazy on the bottom and sides of the tranny.
I've got a lift, tools and a spare shop to do it also. Got some cash to?
While was at it i'd do the triple, flywheel and throw out.
    Thanks
