Yelcab2002 did the major on my recently-acquired 88.5 328 GTS back in CA last Dec. Had the car shipped back to TX and it's been sitting in my shop since. I noticed an oil spot under the car so Mitchell got on a plane and flew out here, drove 150 miles to my place, and brought his coveralls with him. The oil spot turned out to be some residual oil that collected on the CV boot during the major, not an active leak. So instead we worked on the door map pocket spring replacement. It was a pleasure exchanging Ferrari stories and doing some wrenching together. 100% honorable and nice guy, extremely knowledgeable, and even more afflicted with the disease than me (he owns 3 F cars currently)

Incredible! Something tells me you'd be hard pressed to find a dealership that'd do that.

Correction: He owns 4 (not 3) F Cars, one of which he has currently loaned to me while my 308 is sitting in his garage waiting for repairs.

If there was such a thing as a Nobel Prize, Oscar, or Pulitzer for people who love F Cars, Mitchell would have a whole closet full of them.

    The dude totally rocks!

That is an action of a guy who really stands for what he sold/did. Know your business, charge a decent rate, and if something seems to be out of order then act. There isn't any better exposure than that. I know another great example of such a guy (Alex Janssen, Forza Service), on the other half of the globe/in my country. Brought #19055 over there for the first time after another "expert" couldn't fix her. I was só fed up with the car.. Got a recommendation from another Fcar owner and went to visit Alex. Alex offered to sort out all of the issues, and only wanted to get paid when I was completely happy/satisfied with his work/the car. When I picked up the car a few weeks later it ran as a 308 euro/carb car should. That was in 1995. Nowadays his shop has grown a lot, really a lot, but his attitude towards his work and customers didn't change for one tiny bit.

Guys like Mitchell and Alex make ownership a lot more enjoyable. Of course there are many more. Thumbs up for those kind of guys !!
