Watching football, this character showed up - I've told him before, he was not welcome - he must be smelling the steaks! Image Unavailable, Please Login
John, that's awesome!! Does a Bear $h!t in the woods!???? Or, does a human $h!t when he sees a Bear????....
That bear was about 250-300 lbs. You can tell by his ears - a bears ears get to a certain size and then they stop growing but the head gets bigger - so, the smaller the ears look, the bigger the bear. I know this is irrelevant to all my friends in Florida, but this where I hang out for the summer. I am watching the Clemson game(my daughter Morgan went there) and it is dark so I am hesitant to make a bear check till morning
Dude - stay clear. Don't leave trash out, and make sure there aren't pieces of food (e.g., from a barbecue) lying around. We have bears in NJ - I had bear tracks in my backyard from a BBQ the night before (left the garbage outside). Judging by the size of the tracks, it was small, but that means there are more and once they get "human" food, they can get aggressive. Come Fall / Winter, they get even more aggressive as they need to build up for hibernation. Stay safe!
No problem - kind of used to them - when bears have been around and we are cooking out my son in law and I set off a good size string of firecrackers - about a 1000 - seems to spook them pretty well - this is our cookout view Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice view. The bears are getting more curious and coming around more down here too. My GF's parents have one that they are dealing with. Leave them no food and they usual to love on.
