I just had a friend put one in his home in River Oaks. It can run the entire house (4500 sq/ft) including 2 a/c units at the same time. I can find out the particulars and who installed it for him if you like. He is guessing that if we have another "Ike" it will cost about $2100 for 9 days of full power.
    Just let me know

Paul if you don't mind I would like the information. I have a peculiar problem in that we have a well, so while many others had water we didn't even have water. I plan on powering my pool house and garagemahal, along with the well, septic and such. Considering what my electric bill is and the amount of convience this would be, I'm ok with it.

    We have a Service Department ....713 869-0171...:)

A UPS is for computer loads, a generator makes dirty power but is fine for pumps and HVAC......
