    Ha Folks,
    Does anyone know if there is a poly urethane bushing kit made for the TR suspension, now that winter is upon us here in Wisconsin I have the car apart and this would be the perfect time to do some upgrades. I also would like to start a thread on what I all do to the car over winter,so where would be the appropriate place to put it.

    I have seen them aroud, sure ... but why would you want that ?

    I replaced my bushings with "oem" alikes; rubber versions ... drives much smoother than before.

    Non-rubber would be hard imo ... please reconsider carefully if you really want that ...

    I agree.. you return the proper ride.. Urethane bushings are very hard.. Yes they will last longer but oem rubber bushing will last you 15-20 years.. Plus if your in cold temp they can be squeeky sometimes.. Rubber - OEM "Like" is the move..

    I agree, the only way to go is with the OEM style bushes.

    Solid bushes are a downgrade not upgrade. The factory would have used them if they were suitable as they are cheaper.

    They are OK for race cars which regularly have the suspension dismantled and checked.

    They would feed every flex and shock of the suspension directly into the mountings so there is the possibility of cracks developing. They dont last longer as there is movement going in in the bush rather than flexing, so they will eventually wear.
