I have had some great times at VCR and will always be grateful for your support of our community. It was great seeing you at Motor4Toys and look forward seeing you at other events.

 

WOW!!!!....I had no idea that the managemnt company went after Dusty directly.

So the mall basically told it's tenent to get rid of it's own customers.

Unbelievable!!!!!

The VCR was much more than just a place to have coffee. It was a place to meet friends and relax, talk about cars, our families and much more. I know there are great things ahead for you.

Dusty, ever since I moved out of California a few years ago, I would make it a point to visit VCR and the gathering to see old friends whenever I had the chance. I've been monitoring the updates the entire time and sorry to hear of your troubles. It is their loss in more ways than one but onwards and upwards for you. As always, thank you for your efforts and wishing you and yours all the best! Can't wait to see what's next. Safe and happy holidays to all!

Is the post saying "VCR - The Car Gathering" is officially closed?....Or is "Village Coffee Roasters" (the coffee shop) now closed.

Someone please clarify the thread for me.

The shop itself is closed.

 

Time for someone to buy an existing business and open up a "car/motorcyclist friendly" establishment...

 

thxs dusty for all the great times!!! no easy to put vcr together and keep it going, but you did! thxs for the great memories, and bringing so much joy to people...

 

I knew everything up until the part about VCR closing; I was wondering if that was the result of the lawsuit or just that the economy sucks and people stopped coming for coffee.

 

Just heard about the closure on KFI AM640!

12:30PM news break.

 

It's a risky move on the part of Regency. Any car guy will steer clear of the mall and businesses will suffer. Wait till the new year and no one has any money and they'll be crying for business. I hope the retailers begin to negotiate their leases down after this or move out They'll be getting some blow back over this for sure.
