Those have been changing hands between IN and OH more than a few times... I believe once they were confiscated by the FBI due to the owner being a drug dealer of some sort. I'm not positive on that.

    Chassis had no gearbox though.

    There were no drugs involved.
Both cars were still in litigation when they were confiscated. The original owner still keeps the gearbox of chassis 001 and the keys and papers to both cars even today as he tells me.
The Marshalls took the car away without a court decision yet.

He wasn't a drug dealer , I think it was a Ponzi scheme out of Cincinnati (for the yellow one at least)

The flag car looks like the one that sat at a south Florida dealer for several years

My life will be complete once I own a Vector W8. Meanest looking car ever made.

Does anyone know if they made more than one yellow M12? I saw one at Erwin Schwartz in St. Louis about 5-6 years ago. Same car maybe??

Are those the 2 M12's that are at the Canton, OH dealership? I've been wanting to go and check them out.

Thanks. The car in St. Louis was plateless, and as far as I know was never officially for sale at the dealer. I've never seen it around here again.

The first time I saw a yellow one, i was attending the University of Dayton and was driving down Far HIlls when I saw it parked in a gas station. Guy said he traded his 94 Diablo VT straight up for it....I believe that one had black interior, where the other one had blue that was owned by Pat Kisor. I could be wrong though, but thats to the best of my knowledge.

There were only two yellow M12´s made:

Chassis 002 (1996 Detroit Auto Show) and 012.
Both cars were in Ohio for a long time.

002 was completely restored and then offered by a car deealership in Long Island and later by Silicon Valley Auto Group:

There is only one car listed yet, being the stunt car for the James Bond movie Goldfinger.
(here is an interesting article BTW on "all four" Bond DB5´s:
    http://www.motortrend.com/classic/features/c12_0606_1965_aston_martin_db5/spy_cars.html
(there were only two genuine Bond DB5s used for the filming, the very original being stolen in 1997 and lost ever since))

Keep checking RM´s website for the VECTOR being finally listed:
    http://www.rmauctions.com/default.cfm?SaleCode=LF10
The auction will be held end of October in London:
But there are currently three more W8s for sale: one in the US, one in Germany, one in Japan.

Are you guys talking about the one that Megatech gave to Lamborghini as payment for the engines and Weigert took to court because it was his property?

Also, anyone know the whereabouts of the Vector SRV8? The yellow one that was released just days before Vector closed its doors?

    Chris
