Living in Rochester, NY, I met this gent in the summer of 1974.
He had just purchased a new yellow Daytona Spider from Delaware Sports Cars in Buffalo.
He put me on to Mr Pappalardo who helped me find my first Ferrari, a Series II 330 GT, serial number 8125.
Mr P put me in touch with Phil Tegtmeier who arranged the purchase from a Mr Michael Blew, in Solbury, PA.
Back to Mr Walker - someone told me that he passed away after selling the Daytona.
I'm not sure what happened to the car - anyone know of its whereabouts?

Different car. They, Kidston, recently had the other one, an earlier Spyder in this exterior colour, but with a silver nose, chassis #14389. See here.

Bob, I didn't know he bought the Daytona from Delaware. Mecum says it was imported through Chinetti-Garthwaite in Paoli PA, did it go to Delaware Sports Cars immediately after that? I wonder what else they sold, but I doubt info with chassis numbers isn't available, I've run into the same problems looking for cars that came from Bobcor. Do you remember anything they sold?
Also, I don't think Warren is around anymore, but I believe his daughter is and she still lives in the Rochester area. Not 100% sure but its my best guess at the truth

I believe that Chinetti-Garthwaite was the Eastern US distributor at that time. Cars were often sold to non-Ferrari dealers in those years, I've seen sales to VW, Porsche and many others.

Bob, I had forgotten that Warren Walker's Daytona was a different shade of yellow than the Giallo Fly of the time. By the way s/n 8125 is Dan Rischenole's former alloy 275 GTB/2 that wound up as the famous "barn" find in NC, subsequently sold at Gooding, restored at MPI, and then winning at Pebble Beach. Dan pointed that out to me when I sent him this thread about Warren Walker's car,

16465 was born Giallo Dino 20-Y-348. Not Giallo Fly.
