the McLaren F1 is most likely owned by Herb Chambers since he keeps his cars in southern CT. If you see a huge Ford truck blue i think carrying a nice blue trailor beware cause the F1 is inside ;)

I just got back myself. Who knows why the Mclrean didn't show up but there were plenty of beautiful cars to make up for it. The Ferrari 166 Barchetta was outstanding! Anyone else take some good photos?

McLaren owner that was a NO SHOW was not Chambers, but a fellow from Stamford according to one of the organizers. Ferrari and Maserati were well represented.
David Letterman's SuperFast was in attendance.
    Here are some photos.

gary shaevitz was the gentlemen who was supposed to bring his Mclaren and is a great yellow version. The 166 Barchetta, and alfa stradale are both from the same gentlemen and which also brought his Lamborghini 350 GT, Muira, and Gallardo to my event, the Scarsdale Concours.

Any pictures of Leigh Keno's Jaguar SS110?

Anyways it was a great show!

Thanks! This has turned into quite a nice concours. There was a very interesting collection including an amazing Pre war Bentley with a very cleaver Le Mans oil tank that enabled the driver to top off the oil without violating the Le Mans regs. I must admit a Blower Bentley could be very interesting...

It was a great day to drive as well. Jesse and I drove up and back in J446. Rolling down the highway in that one is a trip and a half. We've gotten everything working and she runs strong and cool.

Interesting, yes, but read up on them when you have the time. They weren't very successful race cars "in the day". The naturally aspirated cars did much better...

This is quite true but there's nothing quite like the hand of god pushing you back into a green leather seat as you grip a string wrapped steering wheel, watch the oil drip glass on the dash, and try to keep that short wheelbased chassis from plowing into the stands...

The Bentley Boys who lost the races may have had more fun.

Judging by the period photos I've seen, it looks like all of them were having a good time. Spicy is allowing me to get a Turbo R as the next addition to the collection, a modern blower Bentley. :)

Do you know this for a fact? He has 2, one yellow, one silver

    3. All are in PA. I was talking to the owner of that car 2 weeks ago. He owns 2 of them, the 3rd is aparently in Allentown (5 mins away from me). Nobody's seen the one in Allentown, but aparently its there
