    Hi everyone
I'm in a process of buying an f355. I own a 79' 308 Gtb dry sump which is on sale now. So I thought that a good investment would be on an f355! However I need the lights and some good advice from people that know well the specific model. So which f355? And what should I check for when I see the potential cars (weak points)? Please help.

    George

Besides the Fiorano Spider's and the Challenge cars, I believe the rarest are the F1 GTS then the F1 Berlinetta's.

I'm personally not a convertible fan in general, although the 355 looks great with the top up or down.

Compression and leak down results are pretty much the most important PPI factors. Everything else can be fixed within reason.

Only you can decide if you want a Berlinetta GTS or Spider - 6 sp or F1 - 2.7 or 5.2 - as to strengths and weaknesses try reading some of the threads noted in the sticky at the top

I avoid the Spider because of the over fussy top.
A 95 is better than the rest because it does not have the immobilizer.
96 and later have better diagnostic functions, and you are going to need them.
Berlinetta and GTS are much much harder to find, and more expensive now.

Lastly, buy the car, don't buy the stamps.
