    depends on the era.......
    from 1890-1920's it was all american and french.
    from the 1930-ww2 it was american, french, german and italian
    from ww2 to 1960 it was american, british
    from 1960-1980 it was italian and german, and some british
    from 1980 to 2000 it was italian, german

    and right now i think its italian, german, british, american in that order
