Anyone heard of them? I was south of printers row last night for a concert, and saw this place. On Dearbourn about 2900 south, on the west side of the street. Big place, big windows. Looks like basically a storage place but sells rims and such. They had a Daytona coupe, a Dino, what appeared to be a BMW M1, several original Mini's, and way in the back on lifts, several very low slung cars with covers. So, looking for some decent "spotting" on the near south side, check 'em out!
It's not a storage place. Brian has built two MBZ's for me (Twin Turbo 300E and an SL55) and I've got nothing but praise for him. Seeing as how that part of town is still "changing" the doors are not open but if you knock he'll buzz you in. He sells cars and works on some of the most amazing things you'll ever see. I'm pretty sure he has an LM002 that he's doing some work on now along with a ton of German cars (MB, BMW, etc.) and some Italians (Ferrari, Lambo, ??). He's a great guy and whenever I take my cars in I get a "new" car back. http://willowauto.com/
Brian has been around for years. When I first met him, he had his shop in Highland Park, then North Chicago, and now on Wabash. He's worked on (and built) my TT Benz, and worked on and sold the BMW M635. Has a lot of experience with anything German, and has had Miura SVs, 250 Ferraris, Muscle cars, race cars, motorcycles etc, go through his shop. Basically, they can fix anything high end.
