I tried Rutlands and received ones that were only 1/2 in width. The originals are 1" with a chrome strip. I've tried: Superformance, Trutlands, Dinoparts, Eurospares, Gt Parts and Ferrparts. Nobody has. Must be some around. Need help!! They only have the 1/2" variety.

    John,

I hope I didn't mislead you on the window sweeps. The ones on my '74 GTS aren't 1" wide like the ones in your pic. The sweeps on my car are virtually identical to the one's Rutlands sells. I bought my car in '84 and am 99% sure the widow sweeps were original. Could be the case of running out of one type sweep during production and going with another style. Who knows?

Jon, You might try the Alfa Romeo specialists.
I know I got mine from one of them for my Alfa.
It was such a long time ago, it could be anyone.

    Matthias,

Thank you for you info and link. On there site I can not find any for the 246GT but below is what is listed for the GTS.

On the image the top row says 'con anima metallica rivestita in gomma e velluto' translating to 'With rubber coated metal and velvet'.

The two on the bottom have the call-out : 'Con bordino in acciaio inox' translating to 'With stainless steel flange'

My original inner scraper molding measure about 26-28mm so 'cod.839 inox' seems correct as long as it is the same between GT and GTS.

    Jon can you confirm?
