Gents. The top edge of my drivers window switch pops out of the surrounding trim when pushed down. The switch is secured to the trim by two 1/4" metal strips having an arc or 'bump' that allows a press fit into the trim. Apparently my top metal strip has lost it's 'bump' tension or the trim is worn away inside where the bump contacts it. Can the 'bump' arc be increased without completely removing the switch from the door? Any solutions? Thought I'd ask before taking it apart. Thank you.

I have a 1995 MY and anytime I open either window using the driver’s switch the two switch mechanism ends up in my left hand. I am interested to see what the contributors to this thread have as a possible solution. Thanks all!

Is the entire trim and switches falling out of the door panel?
