What the hell is ASR ? Is there anything on this car that actually relies on driver skills ?

    Dear Johnny Rotten's Son M8,

I'm with you on this. However, 360 CS is 'Top Man' as far as I'm concerned as he appears to be exceedingly good natured.

Yeah they declined to make any comments on the 512 as it was well under there normal operating standards...

What they did say was that the v12 had considerably less POWER than the 12volt battery operated motor there owners are used too

Why don't Caterhams and Radicals require ASR ? Seems like they make reasonable performance cars.
Just checked the owners manual on my RS6 and it has something called ESP (enhanced stability protection ) which I believe is the same as ASR. Does this mean that because my RS6 has 500bhp, flappy paddles and ESP (ASR ) it is a performance car ?

    Dear Johnny Rotten's Son M8,

The Audi is an off road vehicle. I watched one at Goodwood last year which went faster and faster and faster - until it came off the track onto the wet grass at the chicane (before the pit straight) and just kept going without slowing up in the slightest.

Meanwhile god knows what (F40 for example) were getting into all sorts of trouble. So the Audi is not a proper performance car as the roadholding and handling is far too sophisticated. They are merely a hugely fast, and exceedingly reliable 'off road' vehicle.

    Dear Graham

I too have taken my RS6 around Goodwood (in the damp) and it was quite entertaining watching people's reaction's as the car is really quick. It is a truly agile off road vehicle.

You may have noticed that TonyH is troubled by the non Zymol theme developing on this thread !

    Dear Johnny Rotten's Son M8,

It could well have been you at Goodwood then? The F40 was registered Mad 40F I had tried to buy it from Westover and got 'pipped at the post' (thank god). When I saw the damn thing struggling to stay on the track I realised that at my age I should be trying to keep out of the coffin - not put myself in the damn thing!

No matter how much Zymol you put on, and eat-off-the-engine-bay aside, your car's paintwork will never quite look as good as Ray's...

Although I wonder how much less one can spend before one can visibly see the difference?
