    That's interesting because the magazine I read was very, very definite that this was the first time ... plus I follow (via news reports) these events and never heard of a GTO coming out.

    I do know that a few years ago (and it made the news) somebody bought out the ex-Rob Walker 250SWB ... that I thought about driving all the way to Adelaide to see. Are we sure we are not talking about this car?

    Anyway, gee I hope I see them ...

    And i saw it! it was on the freeway back from Portsea. I had no idea what it was at the time, but it was very impresssive for and OHOS.
