Hi all, I was out for a drive today and spotted what looked like a 365 GTB ; the car was dark met. blue and looked awesome. The driver also had a wicked number plate, 365 GTB , which is quite rare in the U.K. Our plates are issued with a letter code [showing year of manufacture] followed by 3 numbers and the then 3 more letters. Is the car valuable and does anyone have a picture? Thanks. Tony
I saw a Daytona at Spa in 1999 with Belgian plates GTB 365. Photo at http://www.fca-houston.org/spa.htm
I think i may have model confused here! a picture below is what i think i saw... maybe it was the num plate that threw me off scent....! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think that you saw a car owned by my Dad until about six months ago, which was a 365 GTC registration '365GTC' in chiaro blue with a magnolia interior. He brought it at the Goodwood festival speed auction a couple of years ago when it looked a little sorry for itself. The original intention was to turn it into a 365 GTS but it was rather to nice to cut and it ended up being restored by Shapecraft I believe. Dad sold the car as He has now brought an original 330 GTS, The 330 engine isn't nearly as good as the 365 though. Not sure if I have any pics of '365GTC' but i'll post them if I find any
Matthew, thanks for the background info.I followed 365 GTC for a few miles y'day after coming off the M25.Stunning car and i would love to see pics if you have any. Regards Tony
Tony I have my licence plate as F 365gtb, but I'm in NY and not in England. Also this is my post number 365!! Rijk
I don't have any photo's of 365 GTC amazingly. Here is a pic of its replacement 330 GTS. The photo comes from the website of the mechanic who does all the work for Dad and I. Maybe I'm biased but I doubt if there is a better Ferrari Mechanic in the country or even Europe. The web site isn't great (created by his son I think) but he has enough work through word of mouth that he doesn't need to advertise. http://www.ferrariservicing.com Image Unavailable, Please Login
