Is F1 turning into Endurance Racing?

    ... I am not talking about the 19 races which does require some level of endurance, but the new format with the one set of tires per race...I don't have anything against endurance racing but seems that the agressive edge of F1 racing is lost. While last year we were witness to sprints from one fuel stop to another, now the drivers are nursing the cars right from the start because because of the tire and engine conservation issues - understandable for Le Mans but F1???

    What's next F1 racing? following the NASCAR rule book where you freeze technological develpment and where only last turn of the last lap matters because no matter how far ahead leader is during the race we going to make sure that all cars are together for a photo finish.. So contrived, so sad.
