Neighbours getting the hump

dont know what sort it is but I guess get it checked out at a specialist? Sounds like (sorry about the pun) its too sensitive or a sensor has malfunctioned?

 

tea leaves could be setting off the alarm on a regular basis ... eventually nobody will take notice, and the tea bags will have driven off in your pride and joy.

yes mate, its more than likely to be the alarm siren, it has rechargable batteries in it, what year is the 355?

 

if the car has a simens trackback fitted , is that causing probs too, if not it may soon, the siren is very easy to fit, i have just had one fitted and watched it get done, they are £197 + vat tho

 

what happened with mine was the batteries died in the siren, this in turn caused an incomplete circuit (the batteries complete the electrical circuit). This in turn causes the tracker and imobiliser to stop working together. My car would start no problems and drive, but the tracker company would keep ringing me asking if the car was ok. The siren completes the chain between the immobiliser and the tracker. So if the sirens dead, the tracker firm will still have visibility of yer car its just a pin in the arse when they keep ringing you. On the 355's before the siren's batteries died, the alarm would go off randomly. On my 360 the siren would beep 4 times when i opened the car door after unlocking it, hope this helps

 

you will have to replace siren mate, its a non serviceable unit, some yanks have replaced batteries on modern forum but dont know how they get on. I have been told they dont last

 

let me know how you get on and what they think the problem is
