Resume checking business?

I recently saw a couple of reports on the news about the increasing number of people who lie on their resumes. Although I own a business I hardly do any hiring so it's not much of an issue for me.
Even though I would assume that most companies HR people check resumes perhaps it's a service they would be interested in as a time/paperwork savings.
My quick question is are there companies out there that provide this service already or do you think there is a market for someone to start a business that checks resumes?
